Val Garay

Val Garay is a record producer and engineer who has worked with Kim Carnes, The Motels, Marty Balin, Bonnie Raitt, Joan Armatrading, Dolly Parton, Pablo Cruise, James Taylor, Queensrÿche, Cock Robin, Dramarama, EZO, Ringo Starr, Linda Ronstadt, Sarah Brightman, Nicolette Larson, and Reel Big Fish, plus others.

In 1982 he shared a Grammy Award for Record of the Year with Kim Carnes, for the record "Bette Davis Eyes".[1]

In November 2010, he partnered with John Kosh to form a new label company, Red Red Records.[2]
